Kid Logic...

I love kids....... Lane says: "Man wouldn't it be cool if Papaw's lake was clear like a swimming pool so we could see everything?".... Taylor says: "No, because then we couldn't go to the bathroom in it when we are too far away from the house". .... Hahahaha! I love it!

What's going on with us?

What a week...... Dawson went into the hospital and is now back out. Thank God he is doing better........ I have been adjusting to my new heart medicine, which is doing good now........ I sold my Dad's truck on Ebay........ My best friend Lori finally sold her house! Glory to God!!! She's been trying for like 2 years now!....... We finally had the time to work on our pool this weekend. I put pictures below...... I got Friday off of work, which was a surprise. I got to spend all day at home with my kids, we played :-)....... We have only have 12 days until we leave for Myrtle beach for a whole week! Excited!!!! Yes, we are!!! I have never been to Myrtle beach and the children have only been to the beach once, for a day...... lots going on right now. Check out my pool pictures!

EWWW!!! Yucky pool!!! The water was so clear though, all the yucky stuff was on the bottom.

It's better! Still some more cleaning to do, but soooo much better!

We're back!

We had a great weekend at the lake. As usual! It's our very favorite place to go on vacation. I love being with my dad and my children think that there is just nothing like Papaw Terry. Especially Baylie, who won't let Papaw out of her site when we are there.

We had a special treat this trip. My sister hurt her back and got a few days off of work. She got some pain medicine and joined us at the lake. Hi Randi! (she reads our blog) Despite some pain she played with the children and had a good time, and rested in between. It was cool spending time with her, we don't see her much.

I didn't take as many pictures this time, I guess that's because I spent so much time in the water instead of watching with my camera hanging around my neck. We had a great time, it was hard leaving and coming home...as usual. But in 20 days we will be headed to Myrtle Beach for a week with Dad & Randi, then on the way home we'll be swinging by the lake for 2 days for our annual pig pickin'.

Taylor learning how to water ski....she couldn't get up. We think part of it was because her feet were too big for the boots on the skis. My kids have big feet! But, she tried. After that she got on the knee board and did some 360's. lol!

Lane tried to water ski. His feet are bigger then Taylor's so he didn't do any better.

We all swam across the cove and were coming back. I was so proud of Baylie for making the trip with us, swimming the whole time with her life jacket on. Kevin took this one.

The road you see is actually our driveway, we are about a half a mile off the main road. That's our home and 5 acres. You can barely see my big Denali sitting in the driveway. lol! I love these pictures!

It's almost too much!

My Taylor won her first 2 souls to Christ this morning! I'm so proud of her! The 2 boys have been very curious to know about how to get saved and go to heaven one day. Taylor talked to them and they prayed with her and got saved! It's so good, that it's almost too much for this momma here. She called me and told me and I cried, I couldn't help it. My little girl just changed the eternity of 2 little boys. I could not be more proud of her then I am right now. Good job Tay Tay!
